The Cooperative's mission is to continue supplying Radiant's members with the affordable, dependable, reliable and constant source of quality power on a continuous basis through an open, caring organization. The business shall be managed by a board of trustees, member selected, dedicated and educated to give direction to a well-trained staff of employees who will provide the overall service requirements needed by all its members.
We must respond to the needs of the corporation and our members through wise utilization of resources, energy management and marketing methods in light of the challenges and opportunities of today and tomorrow. The mission may only be accomplished by maintaining a continual diligence to the financial integrity and stability of the organization.
Radiant must provide resources, both financial and personnel, to be a leader in our communities. We must furnish assistance with economic development and other responsible activities throughout our service area. Help must be directed to the areas total development with due care for proper infrastructure, including being attentive to environmental concerns and to have in perspective the need for safety to the public, members and employees. We must remain mindful of better ways to improve the quality of life in our area of Southeast Kansas.
